Online store platforms charge a plan fee and a card processing fee on each sale, usually a percentage plus a fixed amount. Higher plans often cut the per-sale fee, so the right plan depends on how much you expect to sell.
Shopify lists Basic, Grow, Advanced and Plus plans. Its pricing page shows prices in the visitor's local currency; we could not read the U.S. dollar prices from the build machine, so check them on Shopify's own page.
Formation services also sell simple sites. ZenBusiness lists a website builder at $129 a year and an eCommerce website at $279 a year, plus a domain at $25 a year and a business email address at $25 a year1.
